Got 'er all done today...the chicken tractor of my dreams! :celebrate Took two weekends... I could hardly wait to show you guys, but I wanted to wait until it was 100% finished. I really took my time and planned everything out to accommodate all the things I've figured out over the past few years I've been keeping chickens. It's all self-contained and I'll only have to step in occasionally to fill the feeder. This is going to make my next batch of Cornish X soooooo much easier and less stressful! And less work! And less aggravation! :weee

***Click here for the pics on my Photobucket page*** Specs are given in the description below each of the photos.

I've seen others done like this before, but the video that Steve posted in this thread about a cattle panel greenhouse helped clear up a few things about how best to go about constructing it.

Also, you might be interested in checking out this fella, texasprepper2 's YouTube channel. He has a lot of really good how-to videos and also many on gardening. I watched a bunch of videos about propagating blackberries last night and really enjoyed them. I dig his TX accent...the videos are educational and entertaining. ;) He's got a pdf file he sells (not too expensive) on the specifics of how to build the greenhouse, but I was able to figure out what I was doing just by watching the video.

Oh yeah, the little goof-balls are in there now...you can see them in some of the other pics. I had trouble with figuring out the link, but it should let you click through from one to the next.

Yeah, I could only see the front view too. I tried to click through the others using the arrows on the right and left but it wouldn't go on to the next pictures :(

Oops, sorry...found the problem! I had to change the privacy setting. It should work now.

Also, thank you, Baymule for the tip about the chicken nipples!! Your link had the best price/shipping costs of any I saw. They were not hard to install either...I used a dab of olive oil and they went right in.

Wow, well planned and built tractor. I like the feeder and waterer setups takes the work out of the moving process. It really looks light weight, but also sturdy at the same time, two words that do not go together very often. Awesome job on it ...:)
