At our congregation, we have a small walled garden off the "little house" where we have our meals.

It is "my" garden. The rest of the property is pretty desolate with gravel, and cactus, and Mesquite Trees.

Here is how it looked yesterday with the Garlic Chives all in bloom.

It is really hard to get a good angle for a decent photo of this tiny garden area.

Very cute! It looks like it belongs on some little farm cottage in England. When we get our "real" farm, that is exactly how I want my yard to look.

Very peaceful. What is that planted between the paving stones?
It is Dichondra. I moved it from my garden here at home. I put in artificial turf as a pathway. At the congregation the water comes from a well. We are right near a river, so there is plenty of water and the added bonus of no city water bill!!

My front yard used to have Dichondra and flagstone paths, but in the summer it has to be watered about twice a day!! At the congregation, the little garden doesn't get the afternoon sun, so it is cooler there in the summer.
