My Sunny Spot Flower bed. :)

This is about the only spot in my yard that I can grow sunny flowers!

It has gotten FULL and BRIGHT ! I currently added these: 2 butterfly weed, 2 pinks, a new pink lily and a pink Penstemon.

Then today I planted 6 lily bulbs. Oriental lilies, Black Beauty and Salmon Star. I bought them from American meadows. The looked very nice. Also added a zebra grass. Strawberry Cream. Cool pink/green/white striped grass.

Me Too ! And so are the bees. Lots of them visiting the Cranesbill Geranium today.

That was our hope. DH has an observation hive on the front porch about 15 to 20 feet away.

Very beautiful!!! Gives us all hope for flowers soon to come in our own sunny spots.

Wish I had a hive of bees already....may be building a top bar hive this month to bait me in some feral bees, if possible. We are seeing absolutely NO honeybees on the clover or anywhere else this season. Not one.
