Need help regarding planting fruits and vegetables ?

I have read apple trees to be planted in spring and fall.
Not sure on the veggie.You would need to look that one up,but I am guessing it needs a longer season as compared with zuchini.

Cauliflower is a cooler season veggie, not one to plant as you are headed into summer....although I have no idea where you are located, maybe you are headed into winter?
For me, this is the time of year to plant summer veggies.
Can you tell us your zone? The length of your growing season will influence what you can grow.
Summer veggies include:
tomatoes
Summer squash
Cucumber
Herbs
Green beans
Melons
Strawberries
I general, anything that produces a 'fruit' likes warmer weather
Root and leafy crops prefer cooler weather.
