In the farm and garden section of westchester craigslist there are ostrich chicks and eggs for sale. I wonder how much a ostrich eats?

I don't know, but I bet they get even meaner when they get hungry! I have visions of Mike Rowe (dirtiest jobs) trying to wrangle an ostrich. It got the best of him, lol.

When I was a kid my boy scout master tried to pluck a feather from an ostrich. He ended up with a torn ACL from what looked like a gentle kick. Anyway, I'll bet they eat more than chickens, and probably won't fit under the porch
