New Additions to the Garden (PIX)

My daughter Jennifer and her husband Christophter got me the cutest garden statue. I think we look alike. I need to get a better picture of the Bee's legs. She has the most adorable shoes!! Maybe tomorrow I will get a new photo with her shoes included.

Last week I added a couple of new plants to the garden. One is a vine that will grow up a trellis in the front garden. It is called Scarlet Pimpernel Mandeville.

I got another plant, a Pink Dalia. They are really quite pretty too.

I am fighting the heat this week to keep things from wilting in the late afternoon.

It has been over 100 for the past few days now.

I lived in Phoenix for years and could hardly garden. Had to learn all those desert plants. Back in Kansas now and I have to say I like this zone!
