Garden Master
While I'm here in the hospital, I thought I'd take advantage of the free wi-fi to catch up some reading here on TEG. I've been trying to hop on here every so often via my dh's blackberry but 3G is so pathetically SLOW.
Thought I'd share a pic of my new daughter, Savannah Joy. She arrived March 8th at 1:31am, 9lbs. 10oz., 23" long. Unfortunately, she was born with an enlarged heart and a valve problem and they had to take her to another hospital for NICU while I'm stuck here. They'll do a cath procedure on Monday to fix it and the outlook is very good. It was scary there at first, but the LORD was looking out for her and thank God the pediatrician came to see her early and caught it before anything bad happened. They've got her stablized and on oxygen right now, and I get to go see her tomorrow.
Gonna keep the garden small and manageable this year. Still have bees. Gonna get some new chicks in April, but only 4 or 6 for now. Now that my count-down-to-spring baby is here, I'm excited to get my hands back in the dirt again!
Hope you all are doing well. I miss you guys!
