My DH bought me 6 Red Star 6 month old pullets yesterday! :love And he even drove me to Lufkin, an hour away, to go get them. Isn't he wonderful? :love

Haha, ya'll are too funny! I found them on Craigs list. Didn't know I was looking for them, but there they were, so we went and got them!

Ya know Bay, I grew up in south Texas...but your accent is different than mine. You say ya'll, but I say y'all. It is a big state though.

I was at the Dallas, Tx. airport once when I was on my way from Fresno, Cal. to Indianapolis, Ind. ... but I still pronounce it as "you all " ! :frow

Waayyy down south Bay. A little border town called Zapata. It sits right on Falcon reservoir about 40 miles down the river from Laredo. I wouldn't want to go back and visit there now. When I got out of the Navy in '91, Dew and I moved to the Rockport/Fulton area. I loved it...she didn't. So, I said goodbye to Texas and moved her home to West Virginia. I hated it here at first. I felt trapped by the hills. I've grown to love it here, except for winter time. I still say snow is only pretty on a post card.
