New Grand Baby!!!

On September 1, 2016 our new grand daughter Charlotte, weighing 6.6 pounds was welcomed into the world by her parents, sisters, grand parents, family and friends. This gives us 3 grand daughters, age 9, 18 months and 12 days.

We kept the 9 year old and 18 month old while Mom was in the hospital, then we kept them an extra night so Mom and Dad could settle in with the new baby. Catherine went to her Papaw and said UP. He picked her up, next request was ELMO, then she snuggled down on Papaw and they both went to sleep.

Nope. Our DD and DSIL are going to stop now. Our 34 year old son has never married. Mom keeps working on him....... His paternal great-great grandfather didn't marry until he was past 40, then married an 18 year old.

Congrats to the parents, siblings, and grands (that's you)! She looks so tiny. I'm used to longer, heavier new people, but she is surely a keeper at any size.

Clayton was 34 when we got married. Since he didn't want any children it took a few years before (oops) our son was born. Dad was bursting with love and pride and never looked back to his no kid plans.
