Then we have - Veg

Yes you did see me over on SSF - I decided to try the other Forums. I have been on the BYC ( Back Yard Chickens) For a year nearly and enjoyed it. But I have more than hens in the yard and so decided to try this because sometimes I screw up with the planting and don;t get best results and wondered if I could join you guys and get some tips and share and also try to help others with things I have learned.

I am also thinking of the Heards thread because DH and I want to get Piggys and goats too but thats in a while yet as we need more land for that project.

I think you guys are a bit ahead of me in the growing because things like your Strawberries are already in while mine are only just starting to flower. Its still pretty cold here on and off. A lot of our plants are only seedling yet so not much to show in photos? I will try to show you what we are doing with the greenhouse and raised beds etc. I feel like we are in control this year more than others.
Funny because a couple of weeks ago I thought oh were so late? Now I think yeah we are ok and just about on time with things. I just hope it all grows.

Thanks for noticing the Avatar. - Most folk just scratch their heads and wonder what Oesdog means?

OESDOG = Old English Sheepdog!
The guy in the Pic is Murphy he is my dog. :lol:

Thanks for the welcome :hugs

Welcome.....from one Irishman to another..... My family is from County Donegal.....moved to Ohio and then up here to Michigan. There are several very informative people who will be more than happy to help you with your gardening endeavors. This is a wonderful group who really love to share their knowledge and assist all who have the "Gardening Bug".:) Where are you located and how long have you had your new garden? Happy gardening!!!!
