Twinkie always comes to me for stritches. :) I love a naturally friendly ram.
Last year's ram lamb was also this friendly on his own, but I didn't have enough ewes to keep him. Glad I could keep Twinkie this year.

Sheep are my favorite farm animal! I miss keeping sheep...I find them to be intelligent, full of personality and sweet. Thank you for posting pics of your sheeples...brings back good, sweet memories. :love

We don't have the right kind of place for sheep here and Mom would veto it, even if we did....the pasture grass if very sparse and not of good quality for sheep as this soil is very acidic. We don't have established fences and such and, though I would have them in a heart beat, this ain't my place so I don't have much say. I have hinted..... :D I love the Katahdin breed so very much and would have a handful of them here if I could.

Mom loves to mow too much to give any of that away to a sheep! :gig That's her therapy...calms her and brings her a sense of accomplishment, so I wouldn't rob her of it.

I'll live vicariously through the pics of other people's sheeples. :D Will never forget the feel of their soft lips on my hand or nuzzling my neck when I was on my knees working on fencing, gates, and such. Such a sweet animal!

Can't wait for lambs! Lol
Saw some breeding yesterday. =0 That might be the earliest lamb(s) from FatWrinkley if she took.

Wethers finally sold! Original lady had to back out. Lady who got the breeding trio of adults decided she wanted the wethers. So glad they sold as pets and not my dinner! I get so attached to the cute Babydolls!

I'm already getting antsy about lambs! lol
