Well, that explains it. I must have planted my whole garden under the wrong moon phases last year. :(

Well yeah. According to that, I've done everything wrong.. May as well turn it under and compost for next year.

Actually, it's just a guide to the BEST times to do things, in the garden, by 'the moon'. Farmers have loosely gone by this method for years. I would imagine that if you lost any or all of your garden, at any time..........the fault could be attributed, MORE, to the gardener's attention and ability, than to the moon's phase.......At least that's the way it has, ALWAYS, "played out" for me.

I sure hope today was a good day to plant root crops, cuz I got into the garden and planted the early crops.

I do have a copy of the Farmers' Almanac, but took advantage of the weather rather than read the book today.
