The first 2 days I began putting stinky fermenting boy cat pee clay litter around my garden I was still seeing Gopher tunnels, but as I increased using it right in the paths of my garden and right on their tunnel openings a few days ago I stopped seeing any signs of Gophers at all.
Oh I'll continue using it in there along with those noise repellents, and will probably get some other repellents too, but now when I look at Clevland's cat pee tray it is not with tacit disgust, but with the hope the pile of clay litter is nice wet and stinky!
Oh I did buy some mouse traps, a friend loaned me a gopher trap contraption to figure out, and I also got an extra large mouse trap they call a rat trap I suppose I could put nice ripe tomato slices on for bait to get any gophers dumb enough to hang around a place that has the urine aroma of the predator cat.
I want the gophers to know, I am trying to save their lives by repelling them. If repelling them does not work the traps will be set, and if that does not work, Clevland will have GOPHERGITTING DUTY. Putting him in for hunting Gophers would mean some preparation first. Fixing his cathouse up, (It's actually a transporter for medium sized dogs.), putting up protection for the plants from his digging, and whatever else would be needed. Do not want it to come to that though.
