I have a new employee he is in his 20s been here about a month. His job does require him to interact with clients. I have been very happy with is work, shows up early works hard. He was off for weekend came to work today wearing a nose ring, I hate those things !!!!!!! I think they are nasty am going back and forth about asking him to remove during work hours. In todays world of body art, full tattoos and piecing does it brother you ?

I would try to suck it up and get used to it. No one knows more than you how hard it is to get a good employee. If any client complains just tell then what a great kid he is. As a teacher I saw all sorts of things that kids used to be "different," you know, like all of their friends. Teachers would mutter and roll their eyes and I just told them they were cool. I always told my husband of our kids showed up with a BF//GF with tats, purple hair, and holes in everything, just tell them how much you like them, and this could be the one. All 3 picked great partners.

if you tell them you don't like them it often gets them in even deeper...

i have a very hard time with the ear lobe stretchers... i wish i could ignore them, but for some reason it just makes me shudder. and i'm not a fan of the nose boogers, but rings i can usually kinda ignore. i actually find a small nose stud on the side kinda cute on some people. just wonder what happens when they blow their noze... side-shot boogie...

if you have a policy in place you should explain that as part of the hiring process. if you don't, then you're kinda stuck i think and you can try to be tactful if a customer brings it up as a problem.

for me, any kind of body dangly is a hazard. i don't want things getting caught any more than they already are.

Mary he does interact with clients. Not a small stud on side of nose but thick ring like pigs get. he is good i will bite my tongue
Ooops I missed that. Yeah, let it go and if client says anything agree with them (will make them feel better haha) but like Cat says tell them he's a hard worker and the dogs don't mind. :p;)
