Hi,
While I am waiting for the nursery to get in the kind of violas/pansies I actually want for the year (they are being slow). I thought I should make note of some interesting ones that I HAVE found (sorry there are no pictures, but my phone is having problems sending pics to the computer)
Most notable of all is a sport that showed up in a six pack of pink violas (Delta Pinks, I think). unlike the rest of the pack (which are as I said, sugar pink) this ones flowers are a deep wine purple (thought still with yellow throats) If I makes any seed, I might have something interesting.
Also I found a Jolly Jester variant with speckles on the laterals
As I insinuated, nothing to make me reach the levels of rhapsody I had with Dark Constellation, but not a bad start for the year.
