@Carol Dee , I thought of you when I posted the poem!

I'd already looked at a weather map and thought, "oh boy! Carol Dee is having more rain today! Rain that Iowa doesn't need."

Dreary and rainy here, too. Keats was British and maybe he was just trying to cheer himself under the dreary, British skies. I looked for swallows today but didn't find them. The goldfinches were chattering in the sunflowers, however .

Thanks @digitS' I like goldfinch so much I dot miss the swallows. Yes, the rivers are finally going back into their banks. So far the rain here has not amounted to much. Fingers crossed that the one they are expecting tonight is not as severe as predictions.
