I think it's been awhile since I've spammed my garden buddies with pictures. So, here we go.
Enjoy!

Oh, I was cooking before the holidays, bad idea. I gained 10lbs and in May, I need to fit in my wedding dress. Now I know how hard it is to loose weight!

Those are very beautiful photos taken with such a loving eye!

We really do have some great photographers here!

One of our water tanks here is built in a similar way as your silos. Definitely an antique construction style. Ours was built in the 1920's.

Marshall - those silos or cribs are made of light weight concrete. And that steel rod you see wrapped around it starts out as 1" diameter and when the crawler machine tightens the rod it pulls so hard that the 1" rod is stretched to 3/4" diameter. I don't remember all the details but when I had one of them built many years ago I think the guy said that the crawler applied 37 tons of force to pull the rod tight. It's very old technology but very effective. The rod is made of something they call Core-ten steel. It will get a surface coating of rust and then it never rusts any more. My old crib is 35 ??? years old and still as strong as the day it was built.

I was curious about the silos and their use . . .

It's a menagerie! I especially like the border collie. I miss the ones we've had.

Very beautiful setting, Secuono!

We don't own a border collie....so...lol

We have a 7yr Doberman, 1yr English Bulldog, 10.5mo LGD half Maremma/Great Pyrenees and a 3yr Mutt [in 12 days, her test will come back and we will know what she is].

She was a Bamboo shrimp, a year old. One of the other fish got her during a molt last month.... :(
