I had sent an article to the Editor of Backyard Poultry a month ago, although until today I didn't get a reply. I'm so excited! There's a chance they might publish it in the next issue! Yippee!

(the Editor told me she'd contact me by the 2nd to let me know if they decided to use it or not, so I'll update everyone then)

I know, it is exciting! It is probably going to be my first published article for them! They liked the article, but it sounds like the editor's unsure if they can fit it into the next issue.

I did write and send in another article much earlier, but the editor suggested (and I agreed) that we postpone the article until I have pictures of chicks to go with it (this would improve the article).

This is the Happiest day of my life since I got Baptized! Mrs. Belanger, the editor, set my a rough draft PDF of my article to proofread before the magazine goes to print on thursday. They're gonna use it in the April/May issue! I think I've fainted a couple of times, but this is AWESOME!
