Where can I go? I'll do it! With 2 sticks because left leg is always bad and the right is a little injured right now.

posted with my new iPhone!

O boy, this thing is tiny! I only have it because we are on the same cell phone account with DD and she decided her new model wasn't quite as wonderful as the next one up ... It doesn't like my stylus which leaves me using the stylus with the 7" tablet and trying to use big digitS' on the phone! Fortunately, it seems to like my digitS' :).

I closed an email account recently that I'd had for, at least, 12 years. I was paying for the minimum so as to keep ads out of my emails. They decided to increase the charge from $9/year to over $40/year. I almost went for that. The service is not widely known. It was recommended by Aboutdotcom way back when. Might have gone through some changes ... their support is now in eastern Europe. I contacted them to ask what I'd be getting and to say that the company blog has nothing new in over 3 years. Weird, duplicated response made me check on service with Better Business Bureau: D-. Change!

I have just completed (i guess) switching all these other accounts like for credit cards, business accounts and social - to the new email. Every website is different! It took me multiple tries over 2 days before I ferreted out the doctor's website acct. Still ! Harris Seed can't seem to square things away. I contacted them, after I couldn't access it myself ... might have lost all records of previous orders. Days!

New email isn't really new. It's the one I use most for social, including TEG. It's with Yahoo and I just hope that Yahoo has learned its lesson from its 2013 debacle!

I downloaded the Yahoo mail app about a month ago but hadn't really used it. Really different! Of course, there must be some reason that the app is better than the website, right??

Oh boy ... well, it's not just me limping through this techno age. I sent my brother an email change heads up so he would look for the note from the new address in his spam folder. He responded. Then, he sent 2 additional emails that said only "Sent from my iPhone."

Steve
having fun ;)

I have a Yahoo acct for things I suspect will generate junk mail and use my ISP email for business stuff. I have had that Yahoo acct since college! 21 years!

Spent last two days trying to figure out why my Adobe Flash browser plug in suddenly quit working. Could not generate the girls' handwriting worksheets and it really frustrated me. Went down the long list of try this/try that, got to the very end and it says try uninstalling, then reinstall. That did at least get it working on MS Edge which I don't like or use, but at least I'm back in business. DH says why didn't I ask him to fix it... He was stuck at work til 9pm fixing their computer problems. Server goes down, the whole plant grinds to a stop! :\

I have resisted using the internet service provider for email.

Maybe it's because of the blame I put on it for any and all problems ... the concerted glitches that interfere with me being online. Yet there aren't many choices for ISP so I'm stuck with it, for the most part.

The phone is my first Apple device and I'm still trying to figure out the keyboard changes depending on how I hold it o_O!

Microsoft puts their Outlook email right on the taskbar, just like that Edge and it reminds me of an emergency call button. I finally began to direct some healthcare correspondence thru it.

Choices are supposed to be good ... but it's a complicated world.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggles with technology. @journey11 , they didn't even have computers when I was in college!

I remember when they first took the library card catalog away. It seemed like such a challenge, although now that seems silly.

The first time I tried to buy gas with a credit card, I tried to put my card in the receipt slot! Never mind that there is a picture showing you where to put the card in. I can often figure out technology if I am sitting at home troubleshooting, but as a shy person, I am terrified to try these things in public and it makes me not think clearly. At least I have mastered the self-checkout (starting by purchasing one or two items when the store is not busy).

I still don't have a phone. There's one on my desk at school. I might have called DH from the grocery store yesterday to see what type of apple he would like if the store was out of Cortlands, but is that important? Not really, in my mind.

I will get a phone when I retire. I hope to go places where there are no desk phones available at that time, although around here, that often means there's no service either!

Shy person? Dang.

I just caught sight of myself in the mirror. I look like a train wreck! Should have been to the barbershop before this procedure ...

So, Amazon is cutting back on grocery deliveries? Should venture out to the market, today. Don't suppose wearing 2 bathrobes at the same time with sweatpants will be proper attire. Shouldn't need both canes unless the parking lot is icy ...

I remember when they first took the library card catalog away.
Me, too!

I have been wondering lately what is Airplane mode? I have it both on my Ipad and phone. I am lucky I can send emails I am that bad
I don't understand that either! I just ask my husband what it's supposed to be on when we travel.

I didn't know what Airplane mode was either. Not that I fly anywhere anyway! Temporarily cuts your phone service then?
