I felt that I learned something as an employee.

The "previous" person to handle the product or service probably has a very good chance of being blamed for some measure of incompetence. Of course, it depends on their performance and the personality of the next person in line. Some in the line, spend an awful lot of time "kicking down" at others.

Management, who have the responsibility for assessing performance and product quality, does trade-offs. There is the Scope Triangle that every business management major learns about in freshman year. Get it done ... gotta make trade-offs to get it done.

Well, anyway :) ... Here's a title many would see as appropriate to their job no matter what their position is On the Line: Receiver of Wreck ;)

Kind of an interesting story that goes with this job right now, also.

Those British and their weird way with words! lol!
I had to Google Scope Triangle but even before I did, I felt like it must have to do with "You can get this job done fast, you can get it done well, or you can get it done cheaply. You pick two".
Unfortunately, today's outcomes often lean towards slow, sloppy and "spensive".
