I didn't have to look Lonicera up. I recognized the name for honeysuckle right away. I've been trying to get some started to grow up the clothes line supports. It will probably have to wait until next year now. I planted beans in the support's areas.

YEP, we started it on the clothes line pole and it took OVER! then went over the fence behind it. The vine is now about 4" diameter. The birds love it all year. Good place to hide from the barking dog and shelter from the weather.

That's beautiful Carol Dee! I love the close up, such beautiful colors.
I recently planted a honeysuckle on the dog run, it's (something )- Lemonade, or Lemonade (something). I'm hoping it's fragrant.

I love honeysuckle, it is considered a weed here, but I let it grow. :) I have these bushes I absolutely HATE, but would be to hard to tear out, so I let the honey suckle take over them. Now I have a giant round fragrant honeysuckle "bush" just outside my bedroom window. :D The orange color on yours are beautiful. :love

Honeysuckle runs wild on the fence and we let it go. It smells so good! Yours is a beautiful color!

I planted one in fall, not sure if it made it though winter.
Nyboy ours was slow to green up. I thought the winter might have done it in. Nope, as soon as the leaves came it was followed by an abundance of blooms. I hope you see growth soon. :)
