Since we are having these for dinner tonight I thought some of you might like the recipe I use.
First I bring the ribs to a boil in water where I have thrown in 2, 3 or more crushed cloves of garlic, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, drain and blot dry. This gets rid of some of the fat and the meat will fall off the bones when served.
Basic Sauce Recipe, this can be tweaked to your own tastes.
1 cup catsup
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup L&P Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
2 TBSPS. dry mustard
1 TBSP. Paprika
1 TSP. chili powder
Coat ribs with sauce and put in a foil lined baking pan, any excess sauce can be poured over, cover with foil. Place in a preheated 375º oven for 20 minutes, uncover and bake another 20 minutes.
Enjoy .
We're having a baked potato, broccoli sprinkled with parmesan cheese and candied yams with ours, cheese cake for dessert.
