I made some palt which is a Swedish dish I learned how to make from my Swedish grandmother-in-law. It is sort of a potato dumpling stuffed with meat. I'm not Swedish but I was one of the few of my generation who learned how to make it. My boys really like it so I still make it sometimes.

Here is the link to my blog with instructions. http://mountaingardengleanings.blogspot.com/2011/03/palt.html

This is not a dish that you make with new potatoes. It is best if the potatoes are older.

Oooo, comfort food! If I weren't so worn out I'd say I know what's for supper tonight :drool Afraid it'll have to wait a day or two, though.

Another recipe for using potatoes! This seems like a good dinner after working outside on a cold rainy spring or fall day. I'm bookmarking it. Thanks Jojo!
