Hey guys,
just have a quick question about peas, could i plant both garden (shelling) peas and snap peas together without some kind of crossing being taken place? Just wanted to make sure it was ok to plant the two together to true varieties.

Thanks!!

OK, I am not great on this stuff so I am giving yo a disclaimer...lol
I think if you plant at least 1 hybrid you'll be ok. Only open pollinators cross over...right? I don't think peas is one of the crops that crosses really easy like corn does either.
Maybe I'll be better after the Master Gardener classes. lol

JMO but I would keep them seperate. They could cross and that couldnt have a good outcome. If you are growing them for anything more that the fun of it I would play better safe than sorry.
