Initially my coop ended where the door is. Then I bumped out a 3' high section with the top being able to open to clean it. Well that was a pain so I sweet talked my husband into tearing it down and extending the whole thing out. I LOVE it! Now I can stand in there and clean the whole coop easily.

Wow! What a beautiful coop. Ya done good, real good.
Smiles, what you my not know is that there is a chandelier in that coop. I also want to stencil a fleur de lyse above their arched doorway going into their roosting area. It will be in gold paint.

Isn't that nice! I wish mine looked half as good.

I bet it was Mary's DH who built that 3' part that he just tore out and replaced. It just goes to show you ... I don't know for sure what it goes to show you, but he does nice work.

Steve, my husband build the whole thing with help from a friend. It's supposed to be big enough for 5 chickens. A couple years later we added those 3' for more space but we still left the outer wall in place along with an automatic chicken door that was there. We finally took down that outer wall and now it seems so much bigger.
