I'm growing cosmos from seed to sell at the farmers market. They are a bit leggy, so I'm thinking about pinching them back a bit to make them bushier. Is this a good plan, or a had idea?

I think so. You will get a bushier plant. Just make sure the pot size on the bottom will accommodate a larger plant.

:rainbow-sun Bigger plant needs more root space. :happy_flower

I like to trim with scissors, so I don't accidentally pull them right up...

Good plan. Sharpen your claws first :p

Try to only get that growing tip.

If you're real good, you can do it without pinching the ends off a pair of leaves.

OK, it's done. :) They look so sad when I pinch them back, but I know that they will look tons fuller once they grow in again.
