Yesterday I received an email concerning my blog and I almost deleted it without reading it, as I thought it was spam. The email contained a link to a video on plant support systems that aroused my curiosity, so I watched the video. They asked me to try their plant support system and wanted my address to send some free product to evaluate. As it was being offered free with no strings attached I replied with my address. The system does look like it will work well in the greenhouse and indoors in a grow tent, so this should be interesting. I did a search and they seem to be legit.

I opened it to look at it Jack. Looks so far like some new kinds of twist ties. I wonder if any of the vineyards are using these.

Meantime some Neanderthal humor! :)

Plant support group meets Wednesday, 6:30 pm at room 15, 245 Main St. 2nd floor, 3rd door on the right.

Ok, had to do that! Sorry...

Meantime, I'm really liking that ultimate plant cage! They look like they'd really work well for the low viney growing beans that both don't climb very well, and when allowed to sprawl they leave their bean pods right on the ground. I think they'd also be great for some of the lower growing Peas.

Marshall,
It was the cage they were writing about saying their product would be much better than the bamboo stakes I use for growing peppers and tomatoes, so that, along with the ties is what they are sending. Looking at store locations I found a dealer about twenty miles from our house in Kinderhook, New York. It is a nursery with a garden center and three greenhouses, so we are taking a ride down there this afternoon, as it is such a nice day. I love wandering through greenhouses.
