:celebrate finally got something into the ground...totally forgot about planting potatoes in the round and dug an 8 foot bed for our first planting of potatoes...this past Tuesday I started tomato, zinnia, broccoli, chard, brussel sprouts, lettuces, asian greens, mesculn[sp] and pepper seeds inside and every thing is up except the peppers... :ya

Got the first 4 ft x 8 ft raised bed filled and have a green house/cold frame on top of it and looking to see how warm it gets in there... I may start my cucumbers in there if it is warm enough...

Today was great got help with raking some of the yard from my grandson and friend while I worked on the potato bed and Dh filled the raised bed with compost...

:happy_flower Hi momofdrew! :happy_flower
Isn't it great to get something into the ground at long last? :celebrate :celebrate :celebrate I just can't keep out of the garden --I don't want to be anywhere else. I also noticed that I'm a lot fitter now & have lost a tiny bit of weight :ya so that's an added bonus !!

I too have a lot of seedlings coming up indoors & my peppers are the only ones that haven't come up. It is the first time I've grown them so I have nothing to compare them with. Can you tell me if they take much longer to come through than other seeds? I've got them at the right temperature. :idunno

Enjoy your gardening & good luck with your crops :weight
