Plants for butterflies

in reading the thread about caterpillars attacking tomatoes, it was mentioned fennel for swallowtail butterflies.

So what plants draw specific butterflies. Especially annuals but perennials will work-I have limited room in butterfly garden.

I always get Eastern Black Swallowtail caterpillars on dill and usually on parsley.

Good news as I have volunteer dill in garden.

Milk weed is a biennial that is loved by the Monarch. It is a good food source for it's babies. Butterfly weed is a perennial in the same family and butterflies love it. I've never seen the babies or the eggs on mine, however.
