I picked some plums from a 100 year old fruit tree today! They are very tasty!

Wow! A 100 year old tree! How fortunate you are! I love old trees. Someone planted that tree, watered and nurtured it and it’s still here, providing plums for you to pick. I love it!
Two years ago I discovered an old orchard on an abandoned homestead that had a few trees about that same age that were still bearing fruit! I was introduced to an apple I had never tasted before - a "ghost" apple. It had pure white skin and tasted nice and sweet just like a Fuji! There were a few other apple varieties there as well as some mini pears! I ended making an apple pie with those apples! 😋
