If I pull the plums that are starting to ripen and keep them in a brown paper bag, will they continue to ripen? Do I need to add an apple maybe?
I'm having a serious problem with Japanese Beetles. It is amazing how many I can collect different times a day in a small bucket of water with a bit of dishwashing soap in it. More than 24 chickens will eat. Although they prefer the big green June Bugs more than the Japanese Beetles, they will eat them.
While I'm on the topic, any good recipes for several dozen plums, possibly slightly damaged by chewing.
TIA.
