Here in the PNW now is in the throws of the second dryest May on record with a total of 0.17 " of rain. Our town just issued a lawn watering restriction and only on specified 3 days a week. This morning , there was a real layer of ICE on our car. BRrrrrr !

Really? It positively dumped rain here a couple of weeks ago here. It flooded our streets and was so intense I had to take my teenager chicks indoors to protect them even though they had a shelter. We're in WA.

This should have been a month with about 1.5" of precipitation.

Instead, we have about half of that.

There are only a few more weeks for growing season showers. Summer rain seldom amounts to anything.
