I have a poinsettia that has decided t continue growing. Maybe I should plant it somewhere. I am zone 8, midlands SC, sandy soil.

They grow wild and as landscape plants in Southern CA, especially the Ventura area.

I know it won't do the red thing, if it is outside. But the foliage is nice. I thought I would plant it in one of the flower gardens to see what it would do. MIL gave it to me, thinking I would just re-use the dirt. I am not into the whole poinsettia thing at holidays anyways, but why kill a perfectly good plant.
