Unfortunately, I can't make the rest of this as interesting sounding as the title.

I have a 3 sided porch. Two sets of stairs, one on a low end, the other 10ft off the ground.

House is on a bald mountain, so wind is always blowing. And the rocking chair is always rocking.

I catch it all over the porch, traveling around corners, too! And I've had to save it several times from nearly tumbling down the stairs!

This morning, max wind was clocked at 51.9mph! The chair almost went down the tall steps. Then the wind slid it right into the railing at the far corner! 🫣

I need a way to stop the traveling. Something easy like a mini leash or extra long dog collar with a clip!

What have you guys used? Or is your patio furniture better behaved than mine? 😅

Stole the plant and was inching towards doom.

Maybe you could put strips of rubber on the "feet?" That might help keep your chair from sliding?

It rocks with the wind. It literally twirls and dances. If I had a camera on it, sped up video would be hilarious.

youtube that. :)

take a long enough piece of elastic and tie it to the middle of the bottom of the seat. attach that to the floor of the deck where you want it to remain.
