Potomic (red) and Kennebec (white)
I've never heard of Potomac (red) potatoes. I plant Red Pontiac so I thought you meant Red Pontiac instead of Potomac. Nope. I was wrong. Potomac potatoes were developed by the Univeristy if Maryland in the1930's. You can't assume anything.

I put mine in a couple of weeks ago, Kennebek and Red Pontiac. None have come up yet. It should dry out enough by Monday for me to dig a bit and see if they are just slow or if they have rotted in the wet and I need to replant. The ground has been soaking wet since I put them in.
