powdery mildew?

i am pretty sure my squashs etc have powdery mildew. it has started as dusty white on the leaves on one plant and now has spread to some of the others. the original plant is now covered. i now there is some kind of baking powder solution i can use to spray on but know the specifics of it. can any one out there help me out on this one?
