Pretty Red Flowers - What is this?

My landscaper planted three of these. In the first photo, for scale, what you see is about 2 feet high and two feet wide.



The second photo is a little out of focus, but you can see the detail of the leaves and flowers.



Maybe not obvious in the photo... The red color is consistant, but fades to near white on some flowers and some petals.

I believe that's a pentas RB. Looks like it could use a deep soak. Pentas are great bloomers, and good for dry areas, but they do enjoy a good watering, and occasional fertilizing.

Thank you. I had a waterfall put in and the contractor planted many plants, installed a complete drip-irrigation system, tested it while I watched, but never turned it on. I didn't notice until the day of this photo. Hopefully all is now well.

Not to worry, plants can be very forgiving. It will soon be putting on new growth. Aren't pentas great? They just bloom their little heads off.
What else have you got?
