I got the tomatoes and peppers in this week, hopin we don't get a hard frost, but if we do, I have stuff to cover them with.I have put in the tomatoes, jalapenos, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and potatoes thus far. The thyme and parsley are doing great, garlic is TALL and the green onions and chives are out of control. Been trying to haul all the old hay the animals left thru the winter and toss it over the fence so I can spread it all over for mulch and pathways. Got tired of towing a wagon so talked DH into letting me use the tractor... meanwhile, I need to work on the flower garden part of the yard.

The flax is very, very happy this year!

Oooh, those clumps of flax are so pretty set against those boulders! :happy_flower

Your garden looks so nice and clean, Petey. Off to a great start! :) That is some heavy duty fencing. Do you have a lot of trouble with the deer? (Or is it the farm critters?)

Looking good! :) We use cattle pannels like that for critter protection and to grow climbing things. Cucumbers, beans, peas, etc... The blue flax is so pretty.

Is it just me or is that first picture moving?!

Please tell me someone else sees it? I might be needing to get my eyes checked?! UGH!

Either way (I'm nuts or not) everything looks amazing already. That sure was a lot of work! :celebrate

Moving, V?

Well, it is "in progress." Maybe we should have Marshall evaluate it - there's something about his vision on the down-to-earth thread.

It may be the multiple grids because of the wire fencing :hu. Your eyes may be trying to line things up and those different grids may be confusing . . .

Steve

It stopped, but it was like changing size by like 2-3 pixels. :p

Journey, it is heavy duty fencing, actually they are the panels we built to feed out pigs in, but they work handy to access my lambing shed and keep the cows, goats, sheep out of the garden!..The chickens however, have been hopping over, so I popped one with the BB gun yesterday and she's still re-thinking it. LOL

vfem, it's probably just the left over energy from the speed at which I planted everything...heheheh

Looks good Petey! You have a lot of stuff in already, I'm not going to panic yet, but I am nowhere near close!

So does Thomas leave your garden alone? I can't imagine that...

Beautiful garden! I put a cow panel enclosure up but the hens crawled through the holes. So I fenced off the fence with chicken wire. Your garden is so neat, the soil looks rich and the flax is pretty!
