Hey guys, i bought a peace lily in a 10 in pot, it looks great, just got it yesterday, now, i have put it in my living room , the window gets sun in the day, its a North East Location( The Window), here i a picture of my living room, you can see the peace lily on the right side. Its about 15 ft away from the window

So, do you guys think the peace lily is located in a good place or its too far from the Window? i read that the peace lily doesnt like sun so thats why i placed it in that area. i dont want it to get subrun and i also dont want it to get not enough sun.

i have mine in a south western window and it has been fine there for about a year and in fact it has recently started re-blooming. i think as long as it is filtered and not direct they will do fine. they do like to be dry between watering so when it looks a little less than stellar go ahead and give it a good drink.

Yea but is where I have the Peace lily okay? As I said its like 15ft away from the window so it's kind of in a shade, I can move it closer to the window but is that going to be better or worse for the peace lily?

I posted a photo of my living room above

you could probably put the plant right next to the window or slightly off to one side so it doesn't get the full sun. i just take and give mine a good soaking and then leave it alone for a week. it's growing in a metal pail that has no drainage so it has been fine when i water it. they are very forgiving if you neglect them. they just look a little scraggly if you do!
