Hello all, its been awhile since I posted on any of the "backyard" forums, as I have moved downtown and been remodeling the house...
No more chickens yet, but that will soon change as Im allowed 3 in the city now.

Anyways, got the garden in the ground during the last week of april and its doing great so far, so great that I had to spend last weekend digging up plants and putting them into large containers and rearranging the beds and such.

My garden is small, and I have 4 various tomatos, 8 various spicy and sweet peppers, sweet corn, zuchinni, pumpkin, watermelon, cantalope, 5 various spices, and a handful of various "salad" vegetables for the cooler shadier area.

Now when I prepared my garden site, I turned down to 16 inches and added a bunch of composted organic material which consists mainly of lawn clippings, yard leaves, and a ton of rabbit pellets from my 5 flemish giants.
The first batch of finished compost also had the last of the chicken droppings from when I (sneakily, shhh)did meat birds about 4 months ago.

I even hand till fresh rabbit droppings around the base of each plant 2x weekly.

My question is...
Is this compost and fertilizer gonna be enough to give me a good harvest??
Will it SUSTAIN my veggie garden until then??
Do I need to add things from a store??

Like I said, so far my garden is growing like gang-busters, and Id say my plants are all 2-3x the size of my neighbors garden, and she planted the same time and we shared the same plants.
I actually just gave her a 5g bucket full of rabbit droppings just yesterday because she came over and couldnt believ it.
This is what has me so curious... as we had a long discussion about having the plant grow as compared to it producing

I also only get sun on my garden for about 3 hrs in late morning, and 5-6 hrs in later afternoon, as there is a large tree branch in just the "right" spot as to filter the sun in the hottest part of the day(which may be a good thing too??) and the those timeperiods are also increasing as the days get longer...

Ahh, thanks to all you who made it thru my long winded post!

Thankyou, I hope so!

Man, why did my neighbor have to put all this in my head...
She says my plants will put too much energy into itself being a big plant, there by taking energy away from making vegetables.

Can I just assume she is jealous of my beautiful garden and is talking smack? ;)

Edit:
Another question I have...
Can I put used coffee grounds straight onto my garden, cause I do...
I save up a weeks worth and hand till it in once a week.
