It has been raining nonstop for 24 hours now. Lake Pillsbury is filling up. There will be no drought for water this summer.
When ya pray for rain, don't complain about the mud. <<< I love all these smileys!!!
I cut one of the 2 pecker poles I planned on cutting today, rain or no rain. Got it cleaned up, then myself cleaned and dried. Doggoned thing decided to be a hanger, but I got it.
Then, a quarter mile away, an old rotten dead Oak tree fell across a road that I had to clear out. Got good and soaked again doing that.
I think I'll just take a hot shower and kick back the rest of the day. I can see the pecker pole logs waiting to be measured and cut to put into the perimeter bed for the front extension of my garden, but they will have to wait. I do not want to get all soaked a third time today.
