We have had a week of Rain so far with more to come according to the weather channel....They keep talking about a heat wave but here we are lucky to see 60 degrees...I have this strange urge to quack... and would love to see the sun for at least one day...my lawn is so over grown and I am worried about my potatoes rotting in the ground... :ep

how do I prevent mildew on my cucumbers and squashes if the rain continues???...:idunno :idunno

:frow Hi there momofdrew! :frow

Being a Brit I know how you feel -- that happens to us all the time!!! Fortunately this year seems to be better than usual. Only 10 days of wet misery & being trapped inside!

So I'm sending you a bit of sun

:coolsun :rainbow-sun :coolsun :rainbow-sun :coolsun :rainbow-sun :coolsun :rainbow-sun :coolsun :rainbow-sun :coolsun :rainbow-sun

I hope things get better soon. :fl :fl

Funny, because we have suddenly been on the dry side here in my neck of the woods. After a cool and wet spring, it's been pretty dry and 90 degrees since last week. No gradual transitions around here, that's for sure! We're getting one of those pop-up storms right now, which means it's going to be NASTY humid after it rolls through. :tongue

It's nasty humid here right now, 92% humidity, 64 out with a heat index of 65- miserable. And the forecast calls for threat of rain and thunderstorms all the way through to next Thursday, 30-40% chance of precipitation, with no sun predicted. Unbelievable. I feel slits appearing in my neck, I believe they are gills. :barnie

The heat is definitely on here - 100 degrees today, but thankfully the humidity isn't as bad as it was last week. We've had no rain for several weeks, so my main goal is keeping everything alive.
