Grands and I are ready for our trip to Washington DC tomorrow. Due to trouble in the area, we've decided to skip school tomorrow morning -- if indeed there is school to be skipped.

It seems someone broke into the armory and took off with 10 high-powered rifles. Someone reported they'd heard rumors of wanting to shoot up a school. Everyone in a 30 mile radius was on lockdown today.

By this time tomorrow we'll be toodling along on Amtrack. Wish us luck.

Also praying for nice weather in the East next week. I sure hope we don't end up walking in the rain all during our week's vacation.

Haven't done a thing either in the garden or with seeds yet. Worried they would dry out while I'm gone. Getting eager to be outside enjoying the creeping spring.

I hope you have a great vacation with your grandkids and that the weather is fine. The train ride sounds fun, I've always wanted to go somewhere by train. Maybe there will still be a few cherry blossoms to see. :)

Here's hoping you have a great trip. I could spend a week at the Smithsonian, let alone all the other stuff there is to see. Should be a great trip.

D.C. is a great place to visit. So many things to see. Like Ridge says that Smithsonian is amazing! Have fun and build memories.
