I have two cabbages that I planted in the Spring of 2008!! They suffered through the summer heat as just seedlings with a couple of leaves, looking really stressed out all summer. Now they are making heads!!
They are planted at the base of my little Apricot tree.
I think the Purple Cabbage is qute pretty!!
There is no comparison to the flavor of store bought cabbage and the freshly picked cabbage from your own garden. Fresh picked cabbage is sweet and tender, I just love it!!
