red clover experiment

In another post I mentioned that I was experimenting with planting red clover right along with winter greens. You can see the results here. My red mustard seems to be quite happy with its companions and is staying well above the clover. the Chinese brocoli in the background has less clover around it but it looks as though it will also be able to hold its own. The patch was just watered so the clover is a little flatter than it will be once it sheds the load of the water.

So far its looking fabulous! I was wondering how that was going.

I have red and white clover seeds. Might have to lay that down when I plant my spinach.

They do look happy. I wondered about that, what would make a good living mulch.
