Red Raspberry Transplant

I live in Ohio. I have some red raspberry plants that I would like to transplant to a new location. Is it better to transplant in fall or spring? Are there any do's and don't when transplanting outside the obvious?

Just my opinion, I would treat them like other bushes and shrubs and transplant in the fall. Perhaps wait until most of the berries are gone.
