trimmed up the steaks, ground them up..

mixed the steak and half the sausage added some rice wine vinegar, sesame oil and worcestershire sauce black pepper.

made the patties and sliced everything. need to buy 5 steaks next time.

cooked them on the griddle topped with cheese served on onion buns, whats a great burger without a pile of steak fries.....

had a burger friday. wasn't bad for a fastfood burger. double deluxe cheeseburger at Culver's.

the best burger i had in a long time was the ground chunk burger i made last year where i put it in a grilled cheese sandwich. didn't put a thing on it besides the cheese, meat and crunchy fried homemade bread. i could do that again. i like burgers on the rare side so i much prefer to buy the meat from someplace i trust.

agree with @seedcorn you did what to ribeyes!?

when i was a teen a super bowl was something quite different than football. i'm well past those days now... :)

For the first time ever, I bought a local half cow. She was slaughtered on the 3rd of Jan, hung for almost three weeks, and the cutter thought she would have graded out between a select and a choice. Anyway, picked up the packages and there were several rib eye packs in there. NUTHIN' like a good tender rare steak!

yes, at some place that was supposed to be really good, it cost a lot and didn't taste very good. it wasn't actually worth half what we paid.

i'm quite sure your burgers were much better. :)

i don't think i could grind up a ribeye, at most i could use it sliced for a stir fry.
