Rosy Palm

Well some strange things do grow in Costa Rica. We have a pony tail palm about 7' high which now has a rose growing out its top. I do not know what kind of rose it is, it is just known here as a rose. the rose grows very long canes, this one just happened to grow up thru the palm and is now showing thru the top. I will post photos as soon as I have enough post to allow me to put them up. The rose is getting ready to blossom so I had better hurry and put up some more post. My wife wanted to remove it but I thought it would make for some interesting discussions. :rose
