Garden Ornament
Do you ever have a problem with cut worms getting to your tomatoes or peppers. un
This is as cheap of a deterent as you can get.
Take your emplty cardboard toilet paper holder and cut one side lengthwise. Wrap the stem of the tomato/pepper plant like like you are putting a collar around it. Make sure you overlap the ends and bury 1-2 inches in the ground as you plant and fill inside with loose dirt. Bring your dirt around the outside of the tube. I have never lost a tomato or pepper plant to a cut worm when I do this. Although my dog thought one was a toy and pulled one up, plant and all.
