Some of the following are solid facts. Others are plausbibly true but I'm too scared to test them.

- Potatoes are very closely related to the deadliest plant in the North and Western Hemispheres, the Deadly Nightshade. And the Nightshade's most poisonous prospect is it's root.
- Morning Glory seeds contain LSA. Nobody tries to get high off the seeds, though. They contain so much that they would almost indefinately kill you with just a few seeds.
- And sweet potatoes are very closely related to them.
- Most Dandelions are an epidecompatible Diuretic. That means they are a diuretic, AND it's attributes can get into your system through porlonged exposure to your skin. So weed before you go to bed if you want to get up extra early.
- There are records of 5 legions of Roman soldiers dying from consuming honey made from Azalea nectar.
- Asclepias seeds are so bouyant that WWII troops were documented to have occasionally used them to re-fill PFDs.
- Soybeans contain stable amounts of Estrogen. Really.

And that's all I can think of. Info like this takes alot of digging around to find out. Anyone have anything else to add? Or maybe corrections to any mistakes here?

On Tomatoes;
In the US, thanks to a US Supreme Court decision in 1893, tomatoes are vegetables. In the rest of the world they are considered to be fruit (or more accurately, a berry). The reason for this decision was a tax on vegetables but not fruit. You may also be interested to know that technically, a tomato is an ovary. The leaves and stems of the tomato (like the potato) plant contain a chemical called Glycoalkaloid which causes extreme nervousness and stomach upsets.

I didn't need to know everything has Estrogen in it! I was fine thinking soybeans were unique with that attribute!
